Frequently asked questions
Measuring and choosing the design
- Make a hand-drawn sketch of the area where the carpet will go, and mark the wall-to-wall measurements on the drawing.
- You can also add the carpet shape freehand to your drawing, or attach a photo of one of our previous works, which you can find on our website or Instagram.
- When sending the drawing, be sure to include a couple of photos of the room.
HERE You will find measurement instructions and examples of drawings from other customers.
Within the Harjumaa area, I will come to take measurements personally only if the design is complex and the carpet price has been agreed in advance. However, taking measurements yourself is not difficult, and a simple hand-drawn sketch is enough.
The measurement guide can be found HERE.
Think about how much of the room you want to cover with carpet.
A good way to check whether a carpet is the right size is to see if the whole family can comfortably fit on it. Mark the dimensions of the carpet on the floor and stand with your family on the marked area – if everyone fits, then the carpet is the right size.
The maximum width of carpet rolls is 4 m, but if necessary, transitions or multi-piece solutions can be made.
I make square, round, wavy, and completely custom-shaped carpets. I recommend checking out pictures of my previous work on Instagram. Personally, I do not recommend carpet designs with very sharp corners, as they may catch underfoot over time.
Choosing the right carpet tone is easy if you follow these four steps:
- Look at the floor – if you want the carpet shape to stand out, choose a color that contrasts with the floor. For example, on a dark floor, a gray or beige carpet works well.
- Compare with your furniture – take into account the tones of the furniture in the room and match them with the desired color to better assess whether the shade fits the interior.
- Consider the mood of the room – bright colors bring energy and add personality, while soft tones create a calmer and more classic atmosphere.
- Get inspired by completed projects – look at pictures of finished carpets. Many clients have found rooms similar to their own and, based on that, chosen a suitable carpet color and shape.
The carpets come in a wide range of colors – classic black, gray, and beige, as well as blue, green, red, and terracotta tones.
If you wish, I can help you choose a shape and color that will stand out well in the room.
You can familiarize yourself with the selection of materials and colors HERE.
- Doormat A durable material suitable for the hallway, terrace, in front of the kitchen, and also for high-traffic communal areas.
- Soft indoor carpet A custom-made material with a silkier appearance and a wide range of colors, ideal for living spaces where coziness and a more luxurious feel are desired. It is also suitable for moderately used public areas, such as hotel rooms, salons, and conference rooms.
Both materials come in a wide range of colors – classic black, gray, and beige, as well as several vibrant shades.
Ordering and price
The price depends on the size of the carpet and the complexity of the design. Long straight lines or large curves are technically more complex and may increase the price.
No. The rug will be made according to the measurements you provide in my studio. Keep in mind that walls may be uneven and hand-cut pieces are not accurate to the millimeter.
If the carpet has to fit between three straight walls, small irregularities in the room may become more noticeable. In this case, it is better to choose a wavy edge instead of a straight edge, as it hides the irregularities in the room and leaves a more visually appealing result.
- Doormat about 1 week
- Soft indoor carpet: Approximately 1 month, as this is a custom-made product.

Material and properties
The material remains clean-cut and does not fray.
When used correctly, the carpet stays in place and does not roll up. However, excessive force or careless use may damage the carpet, but with reasonable use, it will last for years.
No need! The carpet stays in place due to its weight, and can be moved and cleaned underneath if desired.
About 0.5 cm, which is low enough for cabinet doors to open even without a baseboard
Needle felt carpet with a rubber backing. The material is durable, moisture-resistant, non-slip, and holds up well even in high-traffic areas.
The doormat is not too rough and can be used comfortably in kitchens, bathrooms, and offices. The doormat offers a practical solution for rooms where more durability and protection for the floor is needed.
However, if you prefer a particularly soft and fluffy carpet, it is worth choosing the "soft indoor carpet" material
Care and use
Regular vacuuming is sufficient. If the rug gets wet, let it dry and then vacuum any dirt afterwards.
Yes. Since the material has a low pile, pet hair can be easily removed from the rug with a vacuum cleaner.
It depends on the use. The material of the doormat is designed to withstand dirt and is not too delicate, even if the material is in a lighter color.
Yes, the material is suitable for underfloor heating. However, at very high temperatures, the rubber bottom layer may crack over time. But with proper use, the carpet will last for years.
